Last October my friend Randee & I did something we’ve been talking about doing for a long time. We started a podcast! The Dark Moon Café podcast is out in the world, and people are finding it.
When we launched, I didn’t have particularly grand ambitions for the podcast. I thought it could be a fun project and honestly part of my motivation was that I’d get to have astrology conversations with Randee more frequently than we were managing to without a podcast.
We’re now a few episodes in, and the response so far has been genuinely heartening. The download numbers for the first three episodes have already exceeded what I expected at this stage. What’s more, people are sharing the loveliest feedback – some are even listening multiple times to each episode and journaling about it 🥹
The vibe of The Dark Moon Café is very much what I hoped it would be. It’s not instructional, it’s conversational, exploratory. It’s a place to sit with ideas and to let astrology and magic be living practices rather than polished answers. It’s philosophical, joyful, and not afraid to be a little goofy.
I’m sharing this here because The Dark Moon Café is very much an extension of the same impulse behind Open Sky Witch: tending a space where curiosity, care, and thoughtful practice can coexist.
