Virgo Season 2024

Virgo Season 2024

22 August – 22 September

For more insight into which areas of life may be impacted by this month’s transits, check out which houses in your natal chart correspond with the signs where the astrology is happening.

On August 28 Mercury stations direct. While I don’t buy into the whole Mercury Retrograde anxiety that has saturated popular culture lately, we’ll likely experience some sense of relief and relaxing of tension a few days after the direct station. Any snafus with technology or communication should start sorting themselves out and there will likely be a general sense of return to forward momentum. Mercury gets a further boost on September 8 when it enters Virgo where it only sticks around for 3 weeks or so – make the most of this time for writing projects or anything that requires clear communication or attention to detail.

The New Moon in Virgo on September 2 is a good time to initiate new routines that support your health and wellbeing and/or your ability to feel organized and on top of things. Don’t expect immediate results though – it takes a while to fill a vessel drop by drop but with patience your efforts will pay off.

On September 14 there’s a really lovely day of astrology when Jupiter trines Venus – treat yourself to something nice, enjoy hanging out with loved ones or just take a moment to count your blessings.

The lunar eclipse on September 17 in Pisces could be a bit intense and confusing so take extra time to tend to yourself and lean into any practices that help you feel grounded and centered. This is the first eclipse in a new cycle that lasts until early 2027 so pay attention to any new themes that emerge around this time: they may continue to unfold for the next couple of years.
